Girls clean sweep boys in BZU BA/BSc exams 2011
Multan, Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) has announced the BA/BSc annual examination result 2011 on Sunday August 7, 2011. According to the result gazette all the top positions were taken by female students.
BZU Controller Examinations, Malik Munir Ahmad told that 45189 students were appeared in the BA/BSc annual examination 2011 and only 17148 were declared pass while 28041 got failed. The pass percentage of the BA/BSc result 2011 remains 37.95%.
The girl students clean sweep the boys and got all top positions and public colleges also failed to get any position. Iffat Fida Hussain, student of Punjab College for Women clinched first position by scoring 742 marks having roll number 43605. Addeba Sadiq of the same college got second position by getting 720 marks having roll number 43609. Third position was occupied by Iqra Riaz student of Central College with 707 marks. All position holders are appeared in the BSc exams.
According to the result gazette total 37673 candidates were appeared in BA exams and 13556 got pass with the pass percentage of 35.98%. Similarly, 7516 students were appeared in BSc annual exams and 3592 were declared pass with the pass percentage of 47.79%.
In BA exams first position was taken by Zoya Zafar of Govt. College for Women Jalalpur Pirwala with 666 marks. Shaista Malik got Government Degree College for Women Chungi with 648 marks. Warda Bashir got third position by getting 645 marks.
